ENCYCLOPEDIC CARTOONS. The project’s idea is based on
the structure of the reference book encyclopedia. This knowledge pool
was created in the 18th century as a part of the Enlightenment. A
variety of articles referring to different items should enable a deeper
understanding of the world. Nowadays, knowledge concepts are developed
by science and are subjected to a constant revision. It has become an
utopia to provide a reference book for larger contexts of the
mechanisms of the world. The Encyclopedic Cartoons Video Project
presents an item for every letter of the alphabet – and a film to every
item.
